“We are 5 days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America, ” but what does that really mean? He at least gave us an idea.
With President Obama, the real action is never in the forefront but behind the scenes. Do you remember when the Cap & Trade bill was up for a vote, the last thing he ever talked about on camera was Cap & Trade? That is not by accident but by design…but why? Why the record number of czars? Why the huge push for Cap & Trade? Why the huge and massive rush on so many bills and historic amounts of spending? Why try to rush a massive, comprehensive health care bill through in less amount of time than it took for the President’s family to choose a dog? What kind of an Administration is he building? These are the types of legitimate questions which the American people continually do not get answers. With President Obama, like his work with ACORN in Chicago, it is all about the connections, and one major connection is that of the Apollo Alliance.
One theory for his connections which I researched and found credence and quite eye opening involves the building of a network with groups of organizations of social justice, the “Green” movement, and the Unions. The design originated by Van Jones (Obama’s current Green Jobs Czar) and was assisted and funded by Wade Rathke (former leader of ACORN) and the Tides Foundation (another article on Tides). This kind of a super power group would have historical control over every aspect of American life. Super Friends or Legion of Doom? If events over the past few years, and more recently are any corolation, involving groups like ACORN or Greenpeace or SEIU, these groups are not in the habit of negotiating with anyone.
The term Progressivism gets thrown around alot but what is it? Think FDR’s New Deal stepped up a few notches, for example FDR’s “Second Bill of Rights.” Somewhere between the flavors of Communism, Socialism, & Marxism, Progressivism would completely and utterly alter the entire fabric of our country with regulations and stifle the very aspects that make America the strong nation it is.
How does Obama & the Apollo Alliance accomplish this?
Behind the scenes, President Obama, the Apollo Alliance, and other pro-Progressive groups have been involved in shaping some of our most recent bills being voted on in Congress, i.e. Leo Gerard – Commissioner of National Commission of Energy Policy – Director at Apollo, John Podesta – President & CEO of Center for American Progress – Board of Apollo Alliance, Van Jones – (previous member of STORM who wrote Reclaiming Revolution) – Board of Apollo, Phil Angelides – Board of Apollo, Gerald Hudson – International VP of SEIU – Board of Apollo, & Wade Rathke – ACORN and Apollo to name only a few. In fact, Obama has a tendency of hiring from the Apollo Alliance.
First, let me clarify, I am not anti-union. I believe unions are like any other group, there are goods ones and corrupt ones. It is their actions that define their character. However, unions financially survive by their membership dues. Unfortunately, the more money involved the more opportunity for corruption. Government run programs are also a good example of this.
For example, H.R.1409 & S.560, the Employee Free Choice Act, “Card Check, ” would make it easier for a business to become unionized by allowing intimidation and preventing a business owner any recourse to stop it. Who would these bills specifically benefit and who did Obama received some of his largest financial support? Unions. Not all industries need unionizing and to force or allow unions to take over every industry would have enormous effects on our already drowning job market.
Another example would be the infamous “Stimulus Bill,” American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, H.R.1 which was assisted in its creation by the Apollo Alliance. Where has the money actually gone? It’s supporters of the bill should give you a pretty good idea of who will benefit, but the names you will mostly recognize are AFL-CIO, Sierra Club, and of course those fans of fraud, ACORN a.k.a. Community Organizations International. It is no doubt that these groups, with the exception of ACORN, may seem innocuous at best by their involvement with this bill. However, with Obama, it is not about each individual connection but about the network it builds. By their involvement in this bill, since very little Stimulus money has gone into action, who benefits the most? Earmarked and Green programs. Unemployment still rises and Congress still cries for more spending. I thought this is what the bill was suppose to remedy.
Yet another example is H.R.2454, American Clean Energy & Security Act, (Cap & Trade) which would have a devastating effect on a good economy and a much worse effect on a bad one. Despite the Democrats admitting this bill will kill jobs during a time when we are seeing record unemployment, they voted to pass the bill anyway. Also despite President Obama’s pledge of “transparency,” this bill was constructed with very little Republican involvement and passed in the middle of the night. What could they be hiding by passing such a bill with obvious catastrophic consequences to our job market, the cost of our goods & services, & the cost of our nation’s energy? Clearly this was a “Green” bill and a Union bill, so any guesses on who benefits the most?
And yet another example is the government-run health care bill, introduced originally as H.R.2816 & S.898, States’ Right to Innovate in Health Care Act paving the way for states to create universal health care. However, before it could even be voted on, bill H.R.3200, America’s Affordable Health Choices, was introduced to extend the universal health care coverage on a national level. With the fear of Congress attempting to slip this bill in with a late night vote like Cap & Trade, people began to take a closer look at this bill and made some frightening discoveries. And of course the big winners in this bill again are the Unions and their retirees. The townhall protests have focused mainly on the health care bill, but many of the recent bills to hit Congress have left a nasty taste of bureaucracy and government control in their mouths. That being said, many politicians have come back to their home states over the recess only to discover the political blood in the waters is their own.
There are 2 bills that give me great pause and concern and they are H.R.1388, the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act (which has been signed into law), & H.R.1444, Congressional Commission on Civil Service Act. Volunteerism can be a wonderful character building opportunity but what kind of volunteering are we talking about? Imagine the joy you will feel when your son or daughter come home and say, “Mom, Dad, I will be volunteering with (ACORN, Greenpeace, SEIU, etc.). ” Is that warm feeling pride or fear? Now imagine that the “voluntary service” was mandatory and funded by your tax dollars. Still have any of that pride left? Think this is a misunderstanding of the bills? Rahm Emanuel says it best, but Obama states his interests pretty good as well. Volunteerism is not what it used to be.
In conjunction with these two bills, comes another one aimed toward young people but can have an effect on anyone wanting to pursue higher education, the Student Aid and Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2009, H.R.3221, which will cause the Guaranteed Student Loans we all know so well to be funded, not by private banks as before, but the federal government…much like the auto companies and the bank bail outs. I’m not sure why a bill focused on funding for education needs to say, “…and ensuring that such institutions meet environmental and energy standards.” Then again, money is “Green.” I know a few banks that would much rather not owe the federal government money. Besides, the Cash For Clunkers dealer’s checks have all been on time so what could possibly go wrong?
This is just a small group of bills that I have had the opportunity to follow, but there are dozens of moving parts in this Congress and this Administration that need a watchful eye in order to preserve our freedoms. I don’t believe America’s freedoms have ever been so forcefully and ambitiously under attack as they are now. It is not only Barrack Obama who is eroding our freedoms one bill at a time, but it is he who has orchestrated a network of questionable & criminal people and organizations that are far too integrated into our lawmaking process to turn a blind eye.
It is seemingly obvious that Obama indeed has a plan for America, but what exactly it is remains to be seen. Is it his own “Second Bill of Rights” or something worse? It is obvious though that he is not in the habit of letting others get in his way and supports those who support him, regardless of tax evasion or crimes against Americans. His lack of appreciation and respect for our Constitution is the worse we have ever seen with a sitting President. It takes all of us to research & shine a light on these incremental steps taken off camera that are dissolving our freedoms in America. What kind of an America do you want to finally wake up to? Many are indeed waking up to the lies, arrogance, and deceitfulness in this current administration, but we must keep the pressure on them and let it be known that we are not the sheep they believe we are. It is our turn and our watch.
