A few weeks ago President Obama addressed the American people from the Oval Office about the BP oil spill in the Gulf. Oddly, his speech focused more on pushing his Cap & Trade policy and “talk” of the oil spill clean up. What was even more stranger was his lack of focus on the the leak itself and ways to stop it. Since his significant delayed response to the leak and his lack of serious approach, one can’t help but ask WHY? Why is stopping the leak so low on his list of priorities that it takes a back seat to even his golf swing? None of us want to believe that a sitting president would have insidious, alterior motives to his actions but Obama’s connections have been causing many to question what his real motives are.
On Monday, June 22nd the Glenn Beck Program took a hard look at the connections between George Soros’ (also known as “Spooky Dude”) recent investments to the Brazilian oil company Petro-Bras, the Obama Administration’s recent actions to ban deep water oil drilling for 6 months in the U.S., and the $2 Billion Obama will “loan” this same Brazilian oil company to do exactly what Obama has deemed “too dangerous” for Americans to do, deep water oil drilling to depths over twice the depth in the gulf. The oil drilling ban in the U.S. would virtually KILL deep water oil drilling in the U.S. along with thousands of jobs. And who will benefit? Petro-Bras and George Soros. Tonight: a temporary moment of good news as a U.S. District Court judge has ruled against Obama and in favor of ending a six-month moratorium on drilling for oil in deepwater. Of course, you better believe The White House will fight back..and they will fight back hard, because that’s what progressives do- they jam things down your throat, cut deals, and if that doesn’t work, they jam it through the court system.
